NOTICE TO EXAMINEES
WHO SUBMITTED SCORES
FOR ANALYSIS
The score analysis will be completed in a few more days. When I first started doing the score reports in 2008, they basically were comparison reports - I compared the examinee's scores to other examinees who provided me their scores. Since then, I have expanded on the reports, incorporating NCBE and NY BOLE statistics into the reports and now reporting raw score estimates. However, most of the useful New York bar exam statistics can only be determined by analyzing a large number of score reports. Accordingly, I need to receive, input, and analyze approximately 100-150 score sheets before I can accurately estimate certain things such as raw MBE subscores. I expect to finish the analysis and begin sending reports sometime Wednesday, November 9, 2011 or Thursday, November 10, 2011.
If you submitted a score analysis and have not received a response from me within ten days of submission, please email me at joe@seperac.com. Some examinees forget to fill out the email address field making it impossible for me to email them back.
If you order your essays (which you should), I will provide you with an essay analysis. Click here for more information on the free 25 page essay analysis:

If you submit your essays to me, you can also participate in the essay/MPT comparison. You can click here to see a small sample of the analysis based on a few MPTs from the February 2010 exam:

The essay/MPT comparison can be viewed by subscribers and anyone that didn't opt out of the comparison (you don't have to be a subscriber to view it - I regard this as another quid-pro-quo). For example, for the July 2010 exam, 52 examinees sent me their essays resulting in 1,378 comparisons for each essay/MPT. I find this analysis is invaluable for examinees to discover "what works" versus "what doesn't work."
Note to multiple re-takers: I am working on a re-taker analysis report that will show your overall averages per exam component, variance in scores, changes in raw scores, etc. If you have taken the exam multiple times, please complete this form with the information from your most recent exam and then fill out this form for each of the prior exams. Alternatively, you can email your score sheets to joe@seperac.com while filling out the Additional Information and Other Information below.
If you have score sheets from exams prior to 2007, please email me to let me know - these score sheets are immensely helpful to me in estimating certain statistics that are no longer reported on the score sheets.
Good luck in your studies,
Joe Seperac
